Oreo Turns 100

It takes quite a bit of time, effort, good taste, and smart business practice to keep a product going for 100 years.
One hundred years ago in Hoboken, New Jersey, the Oreo cookie was first sold by weight — just 30 cents a pound.
Since then more than 362 billion Oreos have been sold in more than 100 countries across the globe. They are the world’s top-selling cookie of the 21st Century. What an unexpected achievement for such a tiny sandwich.
